Results: Regency Park Criteriums, Round 1, SA (Crit)

Mathew Miller (Mittiga) and Michael McGee (Orbea) were the first two victorious riders in this years season of criteriums at Regency Park held in 30+ degree heat. Miller took out the qualifying series for the teams premiership and in doing so qualified his team Mittiga.

Brad Simpson returned with some form, coming home in second from evergreen Shane Gill.

McGee used his aggressive riding to his advantage, joining an escape group early on and then attacking again to win from CSC Team O’Grady’s Darren O’Grady and young cyclist Rohan Dennis.
